Is this the year your beloved pet becomes a star? The ultimate in supermodel glory, professional photo shoots, massages, their face on the cover of a calendar and billboard?
The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County invites you to submit your pet’s photo to compete for these incredible prizes!
ENTRY FEE is just $10.00 per photo, which must be paid at the time of submission and all of which counts as votes for your pet. Unlimited entries and votes permitted to anyone residing in the U.S.
Every pet is guaranteed that their sweet face will be featured in the 2019 Humane Society Calendar through the enter-a-date feature you’ll find when registering!
The top 11 dogs and top 11 cats (unless another species receives more votes) earning the most votes will be a featured finalist in the calendar, and GRAND PRIZES (including a calendar cover and an educational billboard) will be awarded to the Top Dog and Top Cat!

Enter & vote until Sunday, November 11th at 3pm. Winners will be officially announced the same day at 5pm via our website & Facebook pages!

Please Note: This page is manually updated periodically throughout the day. If you do not see your entry immediately, please be patient, they will be added ASAP! Votes and entries made after 8pm each day will be recorded the following morning.
A few things to remember: Depending on your internet connection there may be a few minute time delay between when you place your vote and when it’s received. There may also be a short time delay between when we receive your votes and when they appear on the Pet Photo Contest website. Votes and entries received after 8:00pm will be posted the following day. All votes received before 3:00PM on 11/11/2017 will be counted! At 3:00PM, voting will end without exception. Winners will be officially announced at 5:00pm on the Humane Society website and Facebook pages.

Top 22 Finalists Receive:
- A professional pet portrait mini photo session with Ashley Fitch Photography.
- Your very special finalist will be featured within the 2019 Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County Calendar.
- A high resolution digital file with full rights of your pet’s calendar photo.
- Finalists receiving over $100 in votes will receive a free calendar.
Grand Prizes (in addition to finalist prize package):
- The top dog and top cat (unless another species earns more votes) will not only grace the cover of the 2019 Humane Society Calendar but will have a month of their very own.
- Your pet will be featured, larger than life, on an educational billboard for all of Clarksville to see… a once in a lifetime opportunity! (see below for last year’s winners)
- All high resolution files with full rights of every professional photo taken of your pet during their finalist photo shoot.
- 30-minute pet massage compliments of DC Royalty Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Medical Massage Practitioner.
Determining the Finalist Winners:
- The top 11 dogs and top 11 cats receiving the most votes by the contest end time will be a finalist. Should another species of animal earn enough votes to make it into the top 22, the dog or cat earning the least amount of votes will be replaced by that pet. Hear that parents of guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, reptiles, hamsters and other exotics? Jump in and get your vote on!
Contest Rules:
- Entries – $10 per entry which must be paid at the time of submission, all of which counts as votes for your pet. Unlimited entries and votes permitted to anyone residing in the U.S.
- Last year’s calendar cover winners are not eligible to compete in this year’s pet photo contest. All other participants from last year’s competition are eligible to compete again. All pets welcome, not just cats and dogs! Since individual winners are being selected, photos should contain a single pet. If multiple pets or humans are present in the photo, please indicate which pet is being entered in the contest so the photo can be cropped accordingly before posting. You may submit extra $$ (votes) at the time of your entry, which will be tallied as additional votes for your photo(s).
- All entry fees and votes are final and non-refundable.
- The top 11 dogs and top 11 cats receiving the most votes by the contest end time, 3:00pm CST, November 11th, will earn a coveted spot in the Humane Society 2019 calendar! Should another species of animal earn enough votes to make it into the top 22, the dog or cat earning the least amount of votes will be replaced by that pet.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Saturday, November 11th – Voting Ends 3pm CST! Winners will be officially announced at 5pm at www.clarksvillehumanesociety.org and the Humane Society Facebook page!
Tuesday, November 13th – Professional Photo Sessions for the top 22 photo contest winners! Location to be announced. Be sure to keep your schedules open on this date. Our Photographer will email each finalist with time slot options for their special photo session. Kitty photos shoots will be taken at one part of the day separate from the doggies! We strive for a happy experience for all of our special finalists!
