VETERINARY SURGEON FOR HIGH VOLUME SPAY-NEUTER CLINIC
The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery Co. (HSCMC) is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our small, efficient, fun team as we move forward with the opening of a high volume, high quality, low-cost regional spay-neuter clinic in one of the fastest growing cities in Tennessee.
The veterinary surgeon must share our team’s passion for ending suffering, overpopulation and euthanasia of companion animals in our area. Will perform up to 30-35 spay and neuter operations for dogs and cats each day. Experience with pediatric spay-neuter is a plus. Will supervise 3 veterinary technicians/assistants in evaluation and preparation for surgery as well as administration of anesthesia. We are open to meeting with candidates that are interested in working full- or part-time. No weekends. Salary based on experience. For immediate hire.
The HSCMC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in and serving the Clarksville community since 1968. A major reorganization in 1997 set the organization on a path to financial solvency and continuous public service. The HSCMC has provided nearly 8,000 low-cost spay-neuter surgeries (through a voucher program with veterinary clinic partners) since 2004, but the new spay-neuter clinic will be able to perform nearly that many surgeries in just one year!
