RECYCLE FOR ANIMALS...

& HELP THE ENVIRONMENT TOO!

Cans for Canines (and Cats , too!) Humane Society board member David Cummings conceived this campaign to raise funds for our spay-neuter and pet care assistance programs, then implemented it with the support of Heimansohn Industrial Park, a scrap metal recycling business in Clarksville. Businesses & individuals can participate simply by taking their recyclable aluminum cans & other metals to Heimansohn and ask that the payments be placed in the Humane Society account. Heimansohn is located on the corner of 41A Bypass-Ashland City Rd. and Gatlin Rd. Office hours are M-Th 7:30am-5pm, Fri until 4pm, & Sat 8-Noon. We can also arrange for volunteers to pick up your large quantities of cans and metals if needed. Also, businesses are invited to provide can drop bins for the can drive. The Humane Society will provide the drop bin and pick up upon request. For pick up of cans or metals, to provide a drop point, or for any other questions about the Cans for Canines and Cats campaign, just call or email.

Cartridges (and cell phones, too!) for Critters is another EASY way to help both animals AND our environment! Any brand cell phone is accepted - phones only please - no accessories. The Humane Society receives $1-$12 for each cell phone, ink jet, laser, & toner cartridge collected. Businesses and individuals are invited to participate.  The only cartridges not accepted are the Epson brand, generics, or any cartridge not bearing the original manufacturer’s label.Cartridges can be dropped off at the Humane Society office at 223 N. 2nd St., Suite 2, during office hours. Or, leave them next to our door located inside the office building. Or, mail to: Humane Society, P.O. Box 571, Clarksville, TN 37041-0571.  If a business or individual has ten or more cartridges, we can arrange for the items to be picked up.

GUARDIAN ANGEL MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM Guardian Angels are regular donors that help us keep a regular flow of income, which is necessary to fund the many programs & services offered to the community. You may pledge annually, weekly, monthly, etc. - the choice is yours. Donations can be made via PayPal, credit card, or sending in a check.  Donors that submit $50 or more per year receive recognition on the Our Supporters page of our website.
