Cheska is a 4-5 year old, snowshoe Siamese, special needs... She was traumatized in a hoarding situation and is very sweet but very skittish around people until she trusts them. She has not been observed around dogs. Cheska is still shy around people but loves other cats so would thrive in a home that has other cats to help her come out of her shell. This is a courtesy listing for Operation Rescue. Adoption Fee: $100, which includes vaccinations, rabies, deworming, current heartworm & flea prevention, & spay/neuter. A healthy pet is a happy pet! Livy is a brown bobcat style tabby who was born in April of 2014. Livy is housetrained. He and his sibling Gracie (see separate listing) were rescued by a kind person. Now they need loving forever homes! Gracie and Livy are kittens born to a feral cat . As a consequence, they were very wild and hid all the time after being trapped, which in itself was a very traumatizing experience for them . They were kept in large dog crates with hiding places and over time they would come out to play or come out and watch while their foster mother worked in the office. They were transitioned through several other socializing steps and now they are both in a full-size cat room with another cat, a four foot cat tree and lots of toys and furniture to crash out on. Livy is skittish although he loves being scratched by the two people he knows. He is still too scared to leave the cat room. These cats require someone with perhaps above-average experience with cats and lots of patience. There is no apparent reason why they shouldn't both be nice house cats and enjoy attention and maybe laptime way in the future. We recommend no adoption to families with very small children or young children without experience with pets. Lots of noise and rowdiness typical of growing kids will definitely drive these cats into hiding which is no fun for anyone, human or cat. Anyone interested in adopting either or both of these cats must visit them at their foster home to see if they are really the right cats for their home. Adoption Fee: $50, which includes vaccinations, rabies, deworming, negative blood test, & spay/neuter. A healthy pet is a happy pet! Gracie is a brown/tortoiseshell tabby who was born in April of 2014. Gracie was born to a feral cat . As a consequence, she was very wild and hid all the time after being trapped, which in itself was a very traumatizing experience. Gracie and her sibling Livy (see separate listing) were kept in large dog crates with hiding places and over time they would come out to play or come out and watch while their foster mother worked in the office. They were transitioned through several other socializing steps and Gracie has become a very social cat with both people & other cats. Gracie has graduated to full run of the house and cat yard. She's social and loves to be scratched by her foster mom and comes when she's called, most of the time, and loves to play and hang out with the other cats. Gracie would thrive in a quieter home that she is accustomed to. Adoption Fee: $85, which includes vaccinations, rabies, deworming, negative blood test, & spay. A healthy pet is a happy pet!
